I feel your pain man, have been through it many times. On the plus side it was almost 12 months after ordering my interior from newton commercial yet they still sent replacements for the things that were wrong at no charge.

New Speedo cables are about 30cm longer than the original ones and same with new accelerater cables longer as well and parts suppliers need to piss off the 3 month 5000km parts warranty on new parts

I wouldnt do 5000ks in 3 years

Mark tell me about your door trims. I too have Newton trim for my 850. What will I experience?

I bought Newton Commercial trims for my 850 and they are impossible to fit without damaging them due to the vinyl being glued onto a card that is way too thick and stiff.
Before I fit mine, I'm going to rip the vinyl off the thick card and glue it to a thinner softer material like the original horsehair type backing as the vinyl is at least the right size and shape for the doors.
BTW-my bad aftermarket part horror story is a Mk1 column cowl that is too small in diameter when compared to the original.
It just does not fit together correctly so large gaps are evident on both sides-this is the one from Minisport UK (see link below);

Not sure if UK cars have smaller cowls but this one was a waste of 64 pounds in my opinion.
I've now resigned my self to resurrecting the original cracked one.

I replaced quite a few of those in the old days due to long legs and some over-enthusiastic motoring

How hard are they to reproduce, the picture looks fine but I don't doubt there is a problem

A few years ago I had a set of steering column shroud moulds made by a local 'glass specialist. Being glass they don't warp or shrink while they match the plastic finish pretty well perfectly. I had a few sets made and then sold the moulds. I believe these have ended up with Classic Mini Spares in Melbourne. If they still exist they might be worth a call..
