A seller is claiming he's been told the engine is a Cooper S!

Engine number: 9FXEY 5602

True or false?

I've not seen a number that low?
The one I had (from a May/June 1970 car) was 554**

It needs another digit on the end.
56*** would be in the right range for a late Mk2.

Hi all
I am still looking for a Mk 2 S block for my restoration project. Have had a couple of replies so far and haven't ruled them out yet. My top shelf preference is for a block between 55850 - 56000 to suit the 10/1970 build date. I know this is a big ask, but if you don't ask, no one knows you are looking. Bore up to 73.5mm OK. This is a genuine request and any assistance greatly appreciated.
