is there anyone else other than Lucas making eletrical parts for mini's, i always give parts a chance as there's always that odd dud, im finding myself returning many Lucas parts because they simple don't work in 1 case a starter motor solenoid ive sent back for a 2nd replacement part of the origional purchase

can anyone point me in the direction of better bits as im sick of having too return parts.

Don't buy new parts in shiny Lucas boxes expecting to get good quality because it will probably be made somewhere in Asia. Try to get old stock or second hand parts.

Out here, new old genuine Lucas stock is just about gone.
And the Bosch replacements made for Lucas ignition parts are coming from China too. Which would not be bad, except the Bosch Quality has gone south.
