Just got back from a week in Melbourne and Barney will not fire. Spins well, but not even a hint of a kick. Plenty of charge. Any tips on where to look first?

Probably just sulking because you went away without him...wash and polish him then try again :|

Still sulking. Anything obvious apart from coil lead and condensation in the dizzy cap?

Zero spark. Ideas? I put an electronic module in the dizzy a while back and a few weeks ago it had a long miss, like fuel delivery failure.

Have you got a points dizzy lying around you can try? Easiest way to find out if the electronic module has gone t!ts up.

Got a multimeter? Just do a few voltage checks, make sure the coil is getting 12V etc.

cheers,

Jacob

Weber. No choke. More importantly, no spark.
