Thanks everyone. It doesn't seem too bad to do then. Does anyone know the inlet/ exhaust clearance for a GR Re83 cam? It aas mentioned a stock cam is 12 thou

Cheers
James

According to the good doc here, the clearance for the RE83 cams is 0.016" for 1.3 rockers.

Awesome, thanks - This may seem like a really rookie question.. But how do you know what type of rockers you actually have?

Pressed steel look like 2 pieces of sheet steel stuck together. Sintered are very wide and smooth. Forged are thin and solid. I am sure that there are heaps of photos posted somewhere on here.

Set all stock rockers to .016".
1.3 rollers set to .016-.017".

Should really not use 1.5s on an RE83...

Cool thanks!

I have got A+ Sintered 1.18:1 std rockers then.

So .016 it is, same for both inlet and exhaust?

Cheers :)
