Does anyone know if the engine bay sizes changed much on the mini?

Reason I ask is some Rover items when fitted in an Australian mk1 seem a lot closer to the grill area!!

Thanks

There is less room in front of the engine on a round nose MK1 compared to the clubman.
Maybe an inch or two.

Most Rover motors are mounted further forward than those in an Aussie (manual trans) roundnose, as they used the mount locations of the auto subframe.
This was done to make more room for fuel injection etc.

I seem to recall, a clubman is 4 inches longer (in the nose). Roundnoses were 10' long exactly and clubman's 10' 4" if my memory serves me correctly (not guaranteed at this stage of course)!
