I love the rego check system. Although some states like SA and WA don't tell you much.
I wonder if Dorris ever surfaced.

A little known subsidiary was the Queensland And Northern Territory "Aerial" Service...did a lot of work fitting after market radios and aerials for the local Dick Smith's outlets

Hi all, I know this is a little late, but I confess to being the long time (27 year) custodian of Dorris, & one time "restorer" of Boris. (I have only just been alerted to this post..).
Dorris is still surviving in pretty good order in Adelaide, having been re restored in 2004.
She has been to many shows & runs since then, & is currently registered "1330". - That may ring a bell with some, especially Craig Watson, who has seen the car a few times around the country at various events.
I'm happy to supply any info on either car, just sorry I didn't know they were being looked for!
Cheers, Ian, [email protected]

Probably a little bit expensive to bring Boris back to Aust. A lazy 50K should cover it. :)

Here is Dorris today, alive & kicking in Adelaide SA.
The car was disassembled in 2002 & rebuilt again by 2004, It was moved out of Sydney in boxes!
Currently it is registered "1330" & is pretty much the longest I have been custodian of anything, twenty seven years.
