Just curious - this is a 1970 Cooper S shell. After being media blasted it was noted that there were 4 small holes drilled in the roof panel, all in a similar position with one at each corner just above the gutter line. I've never noticed them before on other Minis I've restored and was wondering if anybody else has, or could offer an explanation of why they're there .
It doesn't seem that roof has had any panel work done to it.
