I've sent them an email already and awaiting a response. Hopefully it's all good, as I'd love to be there!

I was there at the 2006 event put on by Todd and it was an absolutely brilliant 4days - great people, great organisation, great cars, and great memories. I registered for the 2016 event as soon as I heard about it. Hope to see some of you there.
Cheers
Rod

$1075 up front and it's not finalised yet. I'd be concerned. Where does the money go? Is it not for profit or is this how much V8 $uppercuts want us to pay to do a parade lap? Thoughts?

It says "not $1075 it is ONLY $330" . I assume if you bought all the passes etc separately it would cost $1075, but seeing as you are doing the whole weekend as part of a group it is cheaper.

Yes, it is $330 for the 4 day event which includes meet and greet on Thursday night, drive and lunch on Friday, Friday night dinner with celebrity guests, Saturday and Sunday car display outside the motor museum and 4 day track entry and pit pass.
Seems like a good deal to me :)
I have paid my money and will see you all there in 2016

That's right it is only $330 for the car and drive plus $249 for passengers if you have them to attend the functions, 4 day race pass, and parade lap same as the driver. Plus you get to park your mini in front of the motor museum for the saturday and Sunday.
Cheers

Plus secure overnight parking provided each night. There is also included a 125km Mini rally (drive day) on the Friday for those interested. Plus a parade lap which to me is only a small part of the entire event. As long as it is done properly celebrating the 'top 9' as the original post to this topic outlined i think it would be a fantastic time. Sounds a really good event and by all accounts the last event was very good as well?...could spend $330 in worse ways
So i have paid my entry fee and hope to meet others from ausmini there.
I will be coming down from Brisbane, not sure of how yet but open to suggestions? ....any others coming down from this way as yet?

Yes I am heading down from Brisbane and a few others I know are looking into going as well.
I'll probably be taking mine down by trailer and if there is a few of us might look at going down as a group.
Cheers
