Maybe I should repack the bearings?

I basically smeared the grease on the outside of the rollers, then twisted the cage and spun the rollers to get the grease inside the cage and lube up the inner race. Then I smeared a some more on so there'd be a bit extra for the outter race.

If the lip in the middle of the hub was worn then the outter races would press in further, thus reducing the preload tension. These bearings have an integrated spacer so I'm not sure how I could achieve too much preload?
