I can't find my Vizard book, but seem to remember him thinking that they were reasonable enough if it was the best you had. Obviously not as good as an LCB or even a half decent 3 branch mainfold.

I don't think they were bad, as long as you weren't running a real hairy cam. Probably were as good as the so-called `Cooper Freeflow'.
They were pretty flimsy at the bottom where the pipe went on.

I've got a Perry freeflow on Barney and a Maniflow LCB on Ha-Ha... no prizes for guessing which has the biggest gonads.. 8)

I can't see any marks on this one at all that might indicate use.
eg.marks around the cut outs for the studs or score marks where the tail pipe slides on.
I wonder how a new one would end up lying around for all these years? Did they sell these things aftermarket as well?

Never saw them aftermarket, just in Spares dep'ts.
Probably came from a BMC timewarp... sitting in a dealer cupboard somewhere. :lol:
