I am in curiosity as to what those half dozen brass rods are, protruding out from the tappet covers that may or may not exist on 1275cc engines.

Ther's a few wrong parts on it though, unless this has been done for another reason.
The tappet cover for one (Maybe to improve breathing), the harmonic balancer, the pot joints instead of steel uni's(not altogether a bad idea), solenoid mounting plate, vacuum advance dizzy, heater tap...

No mention of the crank type(EN16, EN40B).

Only details maybe, but for 5 grand?

I just remember buying a Deluxe wiring harness off him a while back.
I explaned that I needed a hareness in very good condition ie uncut.
What I received was crap, cut wires, exposed copper wire that had obviously shorted. Totally useless.
Took me about three months of harassment for me to get my money back. I'll never ever buy anything from that thief again.
So beware of his interpretation of it's condition when buying anything off him.

Have a second look at the photo. The engine is on its side, he's masked up the inlet and exhaust ports on the head for painting. Those are the studs that bolt the inlet and exhaust onto, with the correct type Cooper S long brass nuts. Not sure if they should ALL be studs on a cooper S, but to have at least some is correct.

You can have your opinions about him, but you can't ignore the info thats obviously there.
