I have a three dial cluster in my mini and tonight the speedo and taco lights stopped working. The middle dial (fuel and temp gauges) still has a light just the two outer ones have given up.
Any ideas as to why this would happen?

I would be looking at the bulbs, circuit board or a bad connection with the bulb holders.

These lights come from a common source, and the negative return wire is also to a single point on standard wiring (anything goes if someone has modified the wiring however). You will need to follow the wires to their source to find the break. It won't be far from the speedo.
