often the pistons are just "cocked" from some dork pulling them back in wrong to effect replacement pads
but most times they`re jammed from grit & rust & crap & years of "lack of maintenance"

grease gun is the go,,, modify the end to fit a brake fitting & Bob`s your Aunt :-)

clean them all out & fit new seals etc & away you go
easy-peasy

I found that a spare disc caliper bleed nipple screwed into the brake hose hole would fit nicely into a standard grease gun fitting.

Just bought a grease gun, i have a parts moke out back so will use bleed screw from that. Do i just clamp a piston at a time and pump the grease? Will give it a go on sat, whilst seeing if this old 1275 will fire up! Have points, leads, oil, fuses, plugs, new ignition all ready to go in :-)

I clamp the inner piston with a G clamp then use grease or compressed air to push the blind one out. Then I use a hammer & pin punch through the hose fitting hole to knock the inner one out.
