The pushrods and studs Please send them with the plate for the end of the head
If the alloy is crushing under compression then why?
It cant be happening with the quantity of import heads sold on ebay or im sure
a web search would find it
Oh and putting packing under rocker pedestals doesn't affect geometry
As I understand the rocker should sit at the centre of the valvestem at half lift.
I was sent standard mini head studs.Ended up buying my own MGB ones
The whole experience has been unprofessional and yes I tried to call you Friday PM
but no answer to say I am not coming

Hi This the last reply I'm getting sick of it and so is every body else.
Did you not read my reply about the plate.
As for rocker geometry you should be able to figure that out.
I was home all Friday why did you not answer the phone Saturday when I rang? I have it on my phone.
Had you have come down on Saturday I had an Arden head and pinion head to show you where the post are sinking in and my race head (cast iron) where I had to grind the head away to clear the pushrods and they still flex and hit (5/16), as I said to you on the phone during the week pulling the heads down to 35lb has all but cured the problem and I explained that the surface area of the mini post is not big enough for the spring pressure which is multiplied by the rocker ratio, made worse by the 1.5 ratio rockers, this is why the posts only sink under the 3/8 stud not the little 5/16 one.
I've tried Ian go fix your own head :(
