Partially stripped the engine after the problems at the Tasman Revival at Eastern creek last weekend...

... Still working through the "air crash investigation" trying to work out what failed first...

... Looks like Cam follower had issues.... the large chunk found in the gearbox !

... and a lot of collateral damage ! :shock:

...... looks like it's getting expensive..... :?

so Dear Santa - Please can I have some news ones of these..... :lol:

A lot of the sports sedan boys used to modify the block and use VW lifters, not sure if you can do that with a J car but it will save the block

Its always to sad to have them break. :cry: Especially when it was something so small that let go initially and it translates into catastrophic disaster.

Best of luck getting it mobile again. I hope it isnt too far away.
