Just got the mag - worth it for those 3 pages alone!

Was in the Classic Throttle Shop around Muscle Car Masters time, and was chatting with one of the staff, when I spotted a mini under a cover. He told me it was a Cooper S.

Unfortunately he couldn't take the cover off to show me as it was the boss's own car.

Apparently it was traded in by an old guy (I don't know on what) and the owner wanted bugger all for it. The boss liked it so much, he kept it for himself. Of course I asked if it was for sale.........

Of course it wasn't............

I just got the mag. WOW, my old car in a photo shoot. Oh the memories. :D

BBY755 let me tell you the true story! Firstly, I wouldn't say 29 is that old! I didn't trade the car, just sold it outright to fund a deposit on a new apartment. Let me tell you, Rory (the owner of CTS) did pay its true worth! Man I miss that one!

Wow,

What a beautiful car.........like your pic.

Sorry if I got it wrong - was going by what i was told, and that's why I always put "apparently"!

My humble apologies.

I wish I could have had a peek at it then! Maybe they have it on display now?

Hoping one day to find something nearly as good!

BBY755, no worries mate. Rory does from time to time display the car. He has even invited me to take it for a spin from time to time. 8) It truly is a nice car. A lot of work was done on the engine internals. A really strong, tight machine, with as original as possible looks.

Can you still buy these tires? Anyone know where to get some used ones for display purposes?
