"I'd think that 6psi would give around a 50% power increase"

as a rough rule of thumb, 7Psi = equivalent of a 50% displacement increase....

so a 998 @ 7psi, should have the torque of a 1500cc ....

As you can see, its not really a close rule of thumb, but it does work...

I'm making nearly 3 times the factory output of a 998 (about 25 @ Wheels) but I'm not making the torque of a 1500cc ..... I think its all in the breathing...

I'll report back when the 12G1316 DRMINI ST head is on and its all dyno'd up ....

I'm expecting about 100@wheels and a Load more torque - Planning to be running at 14Psi . . . to theory says i should have the torque of a 2 litre !! (as-if!)

the theory is based on atmospheric pressure of 14.7Psi producing stock torque.... therefore 50% air pressure should equal 50% more torque... geddit ?

The engine will handle 7psi OK as long it is in good nic
I have heard of standard 1100's making 70hp at wheels with 8psi using these
blowers easy
I think one of my kits will fit even with that radiator hose assembly

Might also be a good idea to invest in some aftermarket gauges...

Oil pressure
Oil temp
Water temp

Maybe....

Question: Has anyone actually got a running car with one of these SC12 supercharger kits? If so, do you get much more power? Any pics?

Does all that allow for blower drive losses.? I saw a Top Gear episode where Clarkson was testing the supercharged W12 Bentley and the blower drive in that consumes 120HP.
