Was wondering - If I replace my current pads with some greenstuffs but leave the old rotors on, in a few months time when I decide to replace the rotors too, would I be able to keep using the same greenstuffs pads or does a rotor change always neccesitate a pad change too? (I just know that its common to swap the pads when disks are changed \ ground).
Oh and where can I get some anti squeel shims for the 7.5'' disks?
The answer is you should use a new set of pads with your new rotors so that they bed in to the new surface...however...a few months of sympathetic driving on old wavy rotors probably won't matter
Just be prepared to take it easy whilst everything sorts itself out and for some initial vibration at the pedal while the pads sort themselves out
