why they ever stopped make them i'll never know.

Current Bridgestones (SF226) come from Indonesia, not Japan..
Dunlop LeMans were not bad either.. I've still got 2. So hard now they will never wear out!

Chris,
I've got a set of 4 brand new Bridgestone SF 226, 165/70-10 here, never been on a car. I was keeping them for the 850..
Yours for $60 each if you want them.

If you want to see how these look on Jellybean mags, we have a set on Barney.

If youd rather introduce some FUN into your drving, buy some cheap nasty unpedictable tyres.... or better still, get some 14 inch rims and leave the tyres at home.... "forget neons - i got sparks"

ive got yokis now, and had the Falkens previously. they both seem good. i'd say the Falkens probably look better on the car, but the Yokis feel better underneath you.

Location: Sydney - strangely, I am glad of the sight of hills!!
I have had

Hankook 145s - much better than the original cross plys :)

Kumho 145s - about the same as the hankooks, but in the wet are limited IMO :)

Bridgestones 165 - great :D except i chewed them out when the front end was misaligned so i know not how long they normally last :(

Falkens 165 - Best all rounder for a road car used every day i reckon because they last. The ones on the basher are 12 yrs old now, and were slippery as hell at the supersprint, but without any power it is not a real limitation. 8)

Yokahamas 165 - the best feeling tyre of the lot, soft as all hell so they stick, but wear out quick. How quick does depend on which compound you get and how you drive. They are probably just a bit worse than the Falkens and Bridgestones in torrential rain because of the assymetrical trad design, but that is not often a problem. These are the best tyre for a weekend only car, because it does not really affect the budget if they wear out quicker, in fact they will more likely go hard before you can wear them out if you only use the car on a weekend. :) :D  8)

I have also had Bridgestone and Yokahama tyres on other vehicles and i am strongly in favour of the Yokies for anything now.

Falken 165's here, a great tire that handles the wet and dry equally well :)
