Hardest part is holding the damn thing. Its bloody heavy..

you need to hang it in a bungee or pulleys to counter the weight, then all you need to do is manouvre it. that is how the factory did it, good enough for me.

how does it work exactly?
Is it as simple as "clamping" it over the 2 bits of metal you want to weld?
is it just a case of clamping it for the correct amount of time for the metal you are trying to weld?

The tips are like electrodes I believe and when touching it completes the circuit and fuses the metal together (I think).

Great bit of kit. Not as strong as a plug weld but a lot quicker. Have you chisel tested a join?
