Yes you don't need "new" driveshafts, you need to clean, repack with grease and change the rubber boots of both your inner and outer CV joints. The inner one is also known as a pot joint.

If you are doing one side, the other side is probably on it's last legs, so do both. It's a medium difficulty home job but can be done pretty easily with the right book and tools ...

PS. Don't lose all the balls from the inner pot joint (6 in total on each side). If you do you may need to buy a brand new pot joint which are about $150 each from memory.

Yes I have one of each - I am about to head off to a dentist appt and I doubt I will feel muich like garaging later today. I will look tomorrow and PM you with a cost including postage.

You are advise to contact Karcraft to get a new set of balls (12 in total) and two new of each the inner and outer rubber boots.

The CV grease is obtainable from any motor spares outlet.

If someone else offers closer or faster- just let me know by PM
