It gets bloody hot in WA and when you get caught up in bumper to bumper traffic or sitting at Macca's drive thru,waiting for that macflurry,then you do need that extra cooling capacity.Fitting a heatercore behind the grille is a brilliant idea :D

LS1380, have you fitted a fan behind it for when you are sitting still or is the extra cooling capacity enough?

No fan-Just extra clubbie heater core+overflow tank+radiator serviced(remove toptank,rod out tubes,resolder and test+I use Redline Waterwetter.

Where did you get the Redline water wetter from?? I got some a while back off ebay (which I'm still to use) but it cost a bit including the postage.

For those that don't know this stuff is excellent, helps reduce the temp by reducing the surface tension of the water: http://www.redlineoil.com/products_coolant.asp

A lot of the guys in the US who race use it and they've all said it helps with bringing down the temps a bit.

I buy it from Coventys(Automotive) Last price I paid was $22.00.
REPCO(Rip Every Poor C... Off) should stock it or any REDLINE stockist.
I also only use distilled water with this-No tap water!!

Get some real HP and then see how well your cooling system goes, I say great idea the ol' heater core. :P :P :P :lol:

Hmm, now where can I fit mine with all these other "radiators"....
