hey just drive a semi for a week and see the stupid crap people do not only p platers but had some fun last night coming back from dubbo was being held up by a slow car go to overtake and a p plater cuts me of (got to be in front of the big truck they are slow ) so i up's it and he slow's down i start going past him and then he notices that his lane ends so he ups it (giggle i got 520 hp) anyways he has to jump on the ankors

andhow many times have i been over taken by cars then when they get in front they slow down to below what i was sitting on cos they dont know the rd but the bloke in the semi 9 out of 10 times has run the rd a hundred times so knows every corner every bump every pothole it shits me that car drivers just dont use the thing in there head the brain .....
i know i harp on about this but well quiet frankly most car driver's engage gear and disengage brain it seam's that soon they will have to start doing phyc test's to see if a driver has the mental capacity to operate a vehicle
makka
Min13k, from what I've seen in over 30 years of driving it is not just trucks that stupid people pick on. You are probably on the road more, so you notice it more....but really it is just a total lack of highway driving education that it is crueling our big roads.
When I learned to drive, the rule was, if you come up behind a slower car you waited your turn to overtake.....now you risk being taken out by someone has come from 17 cars back if you pull out.
The average driver these days has NO eye deer.....how often do you see people, crawl up menacingly close to the car in front, then swing out to overtake at the last moment and wonder why they go backwards when the wind resistance hits em???
Freeway driving is a lost art in this country....people just set their cruise controls and to hell with whatever else is happening around them.
As far as right lane hoggers are concerned....my thoughts are unprintable
The average Joe CAN NOT maintain a consistent speed...I wish I had a dollar for every time I have been passed by cars, only to close on them a few Kilometeres later when they have got tired of pressing the accelerator or have been distracted by a conversation within the car. Pass em again, maintaining your average speed, they come back past then further on and the whole thing annoyingly repeats itelf
I have no doubt that people do unbelievable things in front of Trucks....but its not just Trucks!!
