the rectangular piece goes behind the heater you have to take the heater out. the wheel arch piece's should just sit there when you put the hole lot together, also i used the door strap to hold mine in place .

Start with the smallest hole, get bigger once you know it fits or need to shift the hole center one way or the other.

They go at the end of the floor cross member, between the seat and the door frame to cover up that bit of metal.

They go over the box section where the seat bolts on.

With the clubman gear sticks and rubber covers, does the cover go under the carpet, and the metal brace ontop, or both rubber and brace go over the carpet, so you can see it?

Please make a quick reply thanks

My deluxe has the rubber boot on top of the carpet. CBF putting it underneath the carpet when I replaced it. The metal retainer thing goes on top of the rubber gaiter.

So mine is (from the bottom) carpet, rubber gaiter, metal retainer.

This way bits of the carpet can't poke through under the metal retainer.

It's up to you how you want to put it.But i put the carpet under the rubber and brace, it also hide's the carpet edge were you cut it.just in case you don't cut it very neat.

if you think about the way it should be, the rubber boot should go underneath the metal, followed by carpet and then the metal trim. otherwise it gives the chance that if water splashes up around the gear selector, it'll wet the carpet and linger around.
but it wouldnt be british if it was done properly
