Ok no offence there but seems that BMW wll think they have a year in there that they were ok,

Besides whats wrong with them anyway,

And if I read correctly (will find article) BMW made Mini's before the new ones anyway, so were now calling there old ones good there news ones bad, think this is a little nasty, and unclear

Monte

And i guess you own a clubman too

I just hope all those confused don't drink there milk after the best before dates
Don't worry, you're not the only one having trouble with this simple concept

Milk doesn't have a Best Before Date, it has an expiry date in the form of Use By  . Under the Food Standards Code, product with a shelf life of less than 2yrs which is classified as perishable that could cause an illness or injury if consumed after that date, must by law, have a Use By date. Foods not considered perishable but <2yrs have a best Before date. Food with a shelf life greater than 2yrs (like canned products) need no date per se, but must have some form of identifying code that the manufacture and statutory bodies can trace and recall etc. There are some exemptions, but generally that's what you're looking for.

It is illegal to sell foods which have passed their Use By date, the same does not apply for Best Before.

Having cleared that up, back to normal programming.

That's off the top of my head, I'm the Dr Mini of Food Law :D
I know bugger all about mini's though.
But you're right, it was twenty to five and not worth starting anything too strenuous workwise, so time for a quick ausmini check!
