one has USE WITH RESISTOR on the sticker...

Look underneath-
if it says `12V' connect it straight in. It's 3 ohm.
If it says `use with resistor', do so. It's 1.5 ohm. Ballast resistors to use with it can be got from supercrap etc.

Not that if using a Pulsar dizzy, they take the `use with resistor' type coil, but use no resistor. Yes they will work with a 12V one but give less spark voltage.
