I believe that they have the single tower bolt and won't fit an Aussie car anyway, is that right?

and these 'newish' minis will be welded back together and be on the road soon :) habits die hard.

they fit in the hydro tube hole...
even leylands have it.
only one is early 850's and coopers you need to drill out the bulkhead

How much would I be looking at for a front? an whats the go with this truck?

Oh I forgot to ask as well; When I was removing the subframe a few of the bolts decided to shear. Would it be ok to drill these out and tap to take larger high tensile bolts?

If you are talking the rear subframe yes you can retap them to 3/8".
Use grade 5 or grade 8 bolts.
