Yeah it's all BS, but you get it with old cars. I got a formal warning (if caught with a formal warning you get a defect) from my full roadworthy because I had an after market steering when it clearly says in the modification rules fopr SA cars prior to 1971 don't require an approved steering wheel. I also got failed for not having a front demister, 850s didn't even have heaters standard!
It all got sorted in the end, even when I did play by the rules. The biggest issue with SA is that the only roadworthy place is at the Transport SA, that's why most people downhere lie and don't play by the rules, honest people like me get ripped off.
