thanks for your help :)

No worries :) Seriously, do consider a Pulsar dizzy or (if your dizzy is in OK condition) an electronic module, those options are much, much cheaper and will get you within a few HP of maximum with all the other benefits of the 123. I like the 123 for its tweakability, I'm a fiddler

Next on my agenda is a Megajolt / EDIS setup so I can set the advance from my laptop

If fitting a Pulsar dizzy don't just bolt it in there.. the advance curve is wrong. If timed right at max advance it will have too little advance down low. If timed to normal static timing it'll have too much max advance.
Send it to Graham Russell with your engine specs, and he can change the curve at minimum cost. Nothing like $180.
It made an enormous difference to my well modified 1360.

i don't have a Pulsar dizzy i have a 94 A+ one..

so do i chase up a already converted pulsar one or use what i have?

then send to GR

I would use the one you have, send it to GR, he has a dizzy machine.
But PM him first to check.

Important thing to remember is that a dizzy won't get you any additional horsepower. It will however allow your engine to make all the horsepower it's capable of. If curved badly it will cost you power.

If your engine is capable of torque down low and the cam makes it easy to drive, then all a good dizzy will do is let the engine produce those results.

The really massive difference an electronic dizzy with the right curve will make over a mechanical one in good condition with the right curve is the maintenance -- you'll find the leccy one will stay in tune much, much longer.
