Have fun drilling holes...
was told just too be carefull not to get too much drill fibers inside the caliper..
i have no idear how to do this....maybe blow compressed air threw them once done...??

If you drill it with the caliper pistons out then you can get all the swarf out.

OK may be acused of being a noob...

There were 2 metro callipers, A type and B type. B types are no longer available but had only 2 bleed nipples, so if you have these they ain't much use because it is very hard to get the pads and impossible to get pistons etc.

The A type had 3 bleed nipples and were made for both the vented and non vented discs. The difference is that the vented callipers had the spacer! However there are some A type callipers for vented discs without spacers, I know because I have a pair...

Another thought for you why not use the duel circuit callipers as rover intended. Makes it safer which is what Rover were doing when they made the Metro calliper....

well the swarf will come out as i have already got the pistons out and acquired new seals...

the only problem now is ensuring the hole is drilled at the right angle...
