I've got the stock tyres on mine (155/80 r12) with a 3.65 & stock 1100s motor, and it's pretty damn zippy. Still easily whips rathcooles 1100 with 1098 & 4.26.
When the aus div brought out the 1100S it had a 3.76 - they should have kept it that way!

But yeah, a std 1098/4.2 combo isnt exactly startling, it does get me to work and back every day with a smile tho!

Its all about maintaining momentum....
