You will be able to wrap over the scoop no problem

Wouldn't the extra surface area make the stripe go in and therefore look as if they go in thinner?

I got both the scoop and Cosworth vents from The Spoiler Shop here in Perth. The guy can fit and paint but where's the fun in that?

I would say to use the wrap. I've used it on a few bits and pieces and it's not that hard to get the hang of. And if you stuff it up, you just remove it with a heat gun. As for laying the stripes, I reckon you'd go pretty well using the knife tape http://www.knifelesstechsystems.com/

Basically it's a tape you lay down, it has a little string pull on it which cuts the vinyl wrap. So you lay out your pattern with the tape, wrap over the top, cut with the string, remove left over tape and wrap, and stick down the edges. Gutters etc might get a bit a tricky but it's doable.

Cheers,
Keels.

Kyoda - I love it, running the stripes inside down the dash I'm so copying that one (if you don't mind?).

Did you paint it yourself?

Great colours too :D

My husband and a friend painted it at home.
All satin black, including the bright work.

Copy away with the stripes on the dash. It's always one of the first things people comment on.

BTW These are vinyl stripes, not painted.
