You may want to check them to make sure they're still approximately round...

Put the engine back in the Deluxe.
New engine mounts are a bugger when they are tight.

Did you use genuine Rover mounts or Quinton Hazell ones?
The QH ones are dimensionally wrong, the holes are 4mm out of position.
But I can fix this by slotting the holes, I've done 2 pair so far... see my recent thread here.

I bought some stainless steel for my Travelle"R". Also I build a bracket to mount some relays up under the dash, and also a mount for the ECU for under the dash.

I used the genuine Rover ones.
Holes line up OK just hard to get them in position and keep them lined up while tring to insert the bolt.

Pulled out the master cylinders for a reco, some bastard had used wire instead of split pins so getting them off the pedals was a pain.

Sanded the roof, door, bonnet and front left quatter panel last night and should have the car sanded back ready by monday. It would have been much easier if the PO had sprayed it or left it as it was but nooo, he had to hand paint the whole car black.

I took the 970 S motor out of my cooper car co replica and hope to have the 1275 in it buy tomorrow, of coarse I also had to change the 3 sync ST gear box as well which all takes time. The only set back that I can think of will be fitting the 45 DCOE weber with a 6" manifold :? I am not prepared to cut the bulk head and am at the mo unsure if it will fit.
