Started my regular 1,500mi service by draining the oil... then realised I don't have any to put back in it :x

Looks like a trip to K-mart is on the cards tomorrow. And I was *just there* today...

Changed the SU dashpot oil from AT fluid to motor oil.

It doesn't sound like much, but there's two SUs. That's four screws.

And what sort of a difference did it make?

Took my Triger Crank pulley and front pulley off to a mate to get a spacer machined up. Cleaned a few more angine bits and painted them.. Slowlt getting it back together...

It may all go *BOOM* but it might not :)

The Dr made a house call and put two patches in the floor. Then I cleaned out the back of the Van. Next weekend will be the Brassing of the Pin holes then paint it all in classic black

With my set up I've been getting a lot of issues around 2800-3200 rpm. Like the mixtures are chopping in and out when the engine is loaded down. It's smoothed it out dramatically, but not removed it entirely. It might be the grade of oil (10-40) which was all I had in the cupboard...

Bolted everything that needs to put on the engine (sort of). Still waiting for pulley spacer/belt retainer for cam belt.. Oh AND the head back. Then it can go back on. Should have it in the car by next weekend....
