pulled my carby apart and cleaned it because i was driving up the melba highway to kinglake and she died. stupidly i didn't have any tools so i had to get a tow home. was lots of grit and muck in the carby. fitted a new fuel filter and a few bits of new fuel line.

runs much much better now.

Painted fan and alternator, put radiator back in, connected up the hoses and put exhaust on. Hetty is one quiet mini, no rattles or anything.. I is a very very happy lad... onto the interior now.

Re fitted wiring harness, fixed it up at the same time, cut out some additional wiring and soldered it all back up again. Fitted Wiper motor. put on a new accelerator cable.

Refitted the MED balancer to the 1412 yesterday with a longer bolt, Loctite 262 on the bolt and the crank nose.

Now the 1360 motor can come out, once I get a round tuit. They are hard to get though... :lol:

took 3 wheels to be separated from there Tyres
Finally found 5/16 Pipe for the Fuel Line

Removed remote housing, bolted on lifting lugs to front bulkhead gussets, ready to lift the body off the front subframe/engine assembly. Removed handbrake cable floor seals, ready to release cables and rear subframe.
