Modified 2x 3rd motion shafts (14mm nose) to be 18mm nose, repaired another worn 14mm one to be still 14mm.
All 3 now have nice shiny new roller bearing inner rings fitted. :P

Got the Clubman Estate back from the brake guys. It's upgraded to vented metro disks with a booster. I didn't want to run the additional lines for the booster so left that to them and just as well I did. They had heaps of trouble: the booster wasn't reconditioned as I had been told it was, the hoses for the metro disks, although new, weren't quite right, the M/C had to be bored out and a few other bits and pieces. However, it now has savage brakes and I can crack on with the Gp 5 flares, tidying up the paint etc.

slapped it a few times.

Mysterious flat spot developed while parked last night, was driving fine, got home, parked, went to drive it 3 hours later, now under load it sounds like a subaru wrx with 3" exhaust system.

have checked dashpot oil (topped it up, it was empty ), adjusted idle mixture a little, checked plugs, electrodes brown, not wet and oily..

is running megajolt, so not sure how timing could be out... perhaps the coil pack is failing? Manifold leak?

Will look at it when back from overseas in a couple of months.

Put a seal kit through my clutch slave; honed up nicely after a huge pile of gunk came out of it. No more fluid squirting out the dust boot. yay!

Gave Sues daily drive a Oil Change. Sue also mention that the brakes had a noise in them the last few weeks. Orderd the pads during the week and collected them this morning. Went to putting them on and  wrong EBC Black Pad.Not happy Jan. Dr Mini I am very lucky to have near by as he has come to the rescue again.

Didn't get to touch Marcia today but did purchase front 1 piece windscreen rubber, both master cylinder pipes, Clutch Muster pipe/hose bolt & anti rattle washer, Voltage stabilizer (should have organized from wombat earlier:roll:) , Oil pressure dial connection & hose, Fan Belt and 1 last thing a Go Peddle cable

Also Collected a Sump Gaurd and during the week a AC17 Alt
