Lots of sweet setups. You'll be doing well Cody if yours ends out looking like those 8)

I think this may be the best option as I will have a brake booster and intercooler in there 2,

If you are having a brake booster, have you given thought to where you are going to get vacuum from? I don't think kazjim has this luxury. You may need to run a small vacuum pump & receiver. Boot mounted perhaps?

Mounting the brake booster under the dash is a PITA but will save heaps of room in the engine bay, and look schmick! Another possibility (haven't heard of anyone doing it yet) is to use the electronic brake boost as fitted to some modern cars

Just some thoughts...

O it will look like one of them. i dont care how long and how much $$ i have to spend...

There are still lots of things I need to read up on to work out how to set things up..

one thing I am not sure of is the fuel lines. running a carby setup do you need a return line from a fuel reg to the tank?

yes, but if you mount the regulator in the boot, then you will only need a shot section of hose (braided in your case  ).
You will be using an electric fuel pump? Then incorporate the pump & regulator together in the boot & save yourself some trouble.

yes electric fuel pump.

I need a new tank. so I am going to get a MPI tank cause its got the other line on it already.

And the place where the mech. fuel pump was will be the oil return from the turbo. easy place to do it.

each setup has pro's and con's. I went the std metro conversion cause i did it in 96 when i did not know that much about turbos and i thought it was all easy mods (which it was) 8)

engineering the firewall was a piece of piss one visit by the engineer before and one after the box was welded in place but no painting and the other was for me to take him for a spin cause he loved it.
:D
i used std "S" brake set up wit booster and all was good.

i have had a few teething problems over the years but all and all i would not go back to n/a for what i want this car to be

GT1310 you are only at richmond, I am at kellyvile let me know if you want to look at it, but no can drive at the moment as gearbox is not happy :(

and i can still fit the MKI "S" heater in too
