He's a bad dude, I wouldn't want to mess with him.

Reminds me of Lee Hotti. 8)

I went to cairns in febuary, rented a Bini with the intention to fang it to Karunda, iwas stuck behind a bus both way :x . A bit sad really

thats so taht when you do burnouts the expensive tires dont get ruined,

most people actually ahve the other 2 rims in shed or boot, as tires on 18s can be up to 350/260 dollars a piece

My dunlop formula R's were 120 each, gotta love normal profile tyres.... :P I mean I guess there isn't much rubber in a mini tyre though....

Alternative to putting 'stockies' on the back and yes I have some mates who have.... Just don't do skids, geez, not that hard.

As far as i know my front end panels are all standard. Since the 12s were put on, the front tyres also just knick the guards on full lock. Usually only if there is a bump in the road when doing a U-turn...
I just raised the height a touch and it's been fine since.

As for burnouts in commondores- BOOOOOORRRING

I would have thought the front apron panels should be the same, some are for rubber mounted subframes tho. Mine i believe is for a solid mount. Thats wat was ordered from Mini Kingdom 10yrs ago!

Mine dosnt just nick, it really fouls bigtime! As in u cant turn the wheel any further! Plus my 12in tyres are only 55 profile to!

As for tossers running round with chasers on the rear.

The flog in the above pic actually told every one on the "Just Commodores" chat forum that he traded in 4 good 18in rims/tyres, and all he was able to get in return was 2 19in rims/tyres.... He had to save up to afford the other 2.......

Hanra / Sox61:

I'm contemplating a front end panel swap from a Rover on my 68 Deluxe as it has multiple dents/broken bits/rust/bits cut off or belted flat during an engine swap a coupla decades ago by a previous owner :(

Can you give me any advice or words of caution? I'm still pretty new to Minis and just heard about the solid/soft mount difference a few days ago. Prior to that I was thinking the swap might be relatively easy, now I'm not so sure. Would I need to use a Rover front subframe?

I intend to keep the 10" rims on it, they house the Cooper S disc brakes nicely 8)

( And they say the search function doesn't work - ha! :P )

i guess its hidden by your flares ?
My 10's used to rub there due to worn cones, being a rover shell i guess thats a moot point, but is the shape of the panel actually any different?

(the 10's are now on my elf and rub because the hydro is empty 8) (
