May be next weekend or even durring the week Im home by 3.30pm

Keep in contact.

Re you last pm-a all mini Jacks Hill Climb would be great or even a day at the Caversham Race Track to celebarate 50 years of Minis.

I dont know what the VSCC and Albany committee have planned but I will find out a litle more as its planned. The VSCC keep me well informed its part of the deal we have with the supply of pics.

I had a look and I think I did not get any of you in Albany

Oldest 850 on the register is wild-willy's Orient red 1960 850 with body number around 1000 , it's also suspected of being the 850 used in the wheels magazine mini launch article .

Unless you can find a colour sticker in the engine bay or some original paint somewhere that hasn't been resprayed it'll be hard to pick the original as they weren't on the plate in Clubman's . Below is a post of mine I had elsewhere showing most of the early clubman colours , cadiz orange (I think that's the name) is missing but the rest are named .

Starting top left it's "Am eye blue" 4200 , "Camino gold" 9600 , "Hairy lime" 5300 , "Gambier turquoise" 4700 .

Middle row from left , "Peel me a grape" 8200 , "Plum loco" 7700 , "Arianca tan" 7500 , "Bold as brass" 8300 .

Bottom row from left , "Oh fudge" 7200 , "dry red" 2100 , "country cream" 6100 , "home on th'orange" .

These are original Leyland colour chip's and are the actual paints sprayed onto very light card so they are the actual colours (and look nothing like the shades they show on screen as) , not an approximation .
