What are the radiator hoses like ??????

If they are soft and soggy or swollen then they are not a good prospect - they never tend to seal properly again They need to be good.

They may last twenty years untouched but once disturbed its different story.

You won't need ball joints to swap the motor Tait, if they are in need of an adjust, you can do them any time, I would concentrate on the motor for now.

I will pop over on Saturday to see if you need a hand.......

I will PM you for address. 8)

Graham

I don't see any sausage sanga's and soft drinks and dancing girls on your list there
Seriously though, it looks like everything is there. I'll bring up some extra nuts and bolts, just in case some go missing. Who's bringing the Ball joint seperator and the Torque wrench?

Cheers
Aaron

Mike, I'm still in awe of what you and the other folk are doing.

A suggestion - has anyone thought about metal clips to put back on the rubber boots when you put the drive shafts back in??? Cable ties will do, of course, but they aren't the right thing (or are they the other sort of uni. joint???)

Cheers to you all

Tait has a torque wrench but i will bring mine as well - Take no chances sort of thing.

I will also bring my ball joint separator - its a screw down type not bash the end out of a wedge type.

I think we have most things - Aaron - if you have a couple of pot joint balls then please bring them. Be a real shame to have one drop out and roll down a drain somewhere. *s*

Is someone bringing bringing a good trolley jack ????? - I am bringing my jack stands
A good set of pin drives for the rod change rawl pins would be nice also. I have some but they are indian cheapies.

Doogie will probably bring his trolley Jack, it'll be a goo excuse for him to show it off, he's very proud of it. I will dig thru the shed tommorrow and grab few bits and peices that will be handy.

Cheers
Aaron

I hope that at least a couple of those cans of coke will be made by Mr Toohey - especially towards the end of the day.

As of 11.30 am this morning Taits mini was again running
Intepid mini warriors basically had the engine changed and re-installed by 5.00 pm saturday and some time was devoted to tuning issues
