Does any one know if the upper ball joint boots for a mini will fit a metro?
The upper boot on my metro disc brake conversion is split

You wouldn't believe I just threw four second hand ones out would you? I suspect the metro ones are MUCH bigger than the mini one.

These are really cheap from any place that stocks ball joints or mini parts... Like under $1

Apparently you can use tie rod end replacement boots from repco.
They come in 3 sizes. The part nos are TE1, TE2 and TE3.
The one to fit the metro is either a TE2 or TE3. l will buy one of each and try them.

Cheers chasg

Replaced both upper ball joint boots today. The passenger side boot also had a slight tear. The replacement boots for the metro are the repco TE 3. Cost $6.00 for the pair
