All you guys running HIF carbs on your 1098's ( I can think of at least 2 )....what needle do you have?

I stripped mine down yetserday and cleaned it up Looks ---> 8) and only cost 0.01 remember

It has an ADS needle in it. Not sure if this is right.

I asked SUMidel and they said they would get back to me......WEEKS AGO :x

Anyone??

BDD, wow that is the std Metro Turbo needle, mine has been fairly modded compared to the std needle but i would have thought the BDD on a 1098 is way way way to rich, but if it works leave it hey

BDL is a std mg metro needle and a BEJ or BER is the economy nail they use.

No idea.....but when using WinSU, and selecting EVERYTHING for a standard 998, I get a needle suggested that is a TON richer than the ADS.

My motor is now running with this ADS needle, and its soooooo freakin pissweak. I would love to know what type of motor would suit this needle.

Anyway....might drop in to GR this week for a new suggestion.

Question to you are youi sure its a HIF44 and not a HIF38 as they look almost identical but they take different size needles.
The ADS in a HIF44 will flood the motor constantly as the needle is for a 90thou jet and the car will definatly not run right.

check the hole size at the back of the carb will tell you more.

my suggestion is to buy my 45DHLA dellorto, already has 32mm venturis and jetted for a stock 1098. needs a bit of bling for that gold engine though

let me know when you are going down, i've got to chat with him as well.
