If your clubbies engine has 4k worth of recepts then true. you beat me.... If it doesnt then 2km down the road the engine could start blowing smoke.....

A complete engine and box rebuild should last another 80,000M

Want me to drive your four-thousand dollar motor and have it blow up in 2km?

Where there's a Will there's a way.

There really are a lot of things that could cause this , what colour is the smoke ? What fluid's if any are dropping (check oil and coolant) . As a very quick test leave the car idling and with a pair of insulated pliars pull a plug lead off at a time , if it runs a bit rougher each time then one cylinder shouldn't have a major problem alone , if pulling the lead off makes the motor sound rougher on all but one and the other one doesn't change the motor's sound then that one may have a problem . Beg/borrow/buy a compression tester and see what that tells you . How long since the motors been rebuilt ? Does it smoke all the time , only under acceleration , only on deceleration or coasting down hill ?

a sudden change from no smoke?

if so, cracked head, or head gasket.
