Hi,
The car is a standard 1100 clubman 71. When trying to start, I have spark at the points but no spark at the plugs. Obviously the car won't fire. Any tips.
Thanks

Check the condition of the rotor button , distributer cap and the plug leads . Check also that someone hasn't put a little bit of plastic on the end of the coil lead or similar . Also check the little carbon tip is still in the centre of the distributer cap .

Had the same problem this week, has spark at the points but not at the plugs.... It turned out my new coil crap itself, do you have a spare coil you could try?

Hi,
My spare coil fixed the spark problem to the plugs. Still won't start. Will have check timing.
thanks
