Yeah I bought this for my gearbox rebuild that Doc and I just completed recently, cept i got mine from UK Minispares which is exactly the same kit as what Karcraft sells. Get the right one for either a Rod change or Remote change. From memory the rod change kits come in A and A+ so make sure you ask for the right one. Comes with all the bearings including layshaft bearings, idler bearings, the lot.

I got the one with the diff rebuild kit which comes with competition diff pin and new planet gears and diff gears. It also comes with a MS competition layshaft and all the gaskets.

I went the extra bit and bought a NOS cooper S 4 sync laygear and first motion gear to convert my K box to cooper S ratios 8)

Don't forget to put in a center oil pickup

PS. Check the Minispares website first as it may be cheaper the buy direct, even including the postage

Minispares have non in stock, have sent them an e-mail. See what they say about postage but it will be very close to the price you can get it for over here. Bugger the Aussie dollar

The Karcraft kits I saw and MG Heritage too I think didn't include the idler gear bearings- I'd replace both whilst you're in there.

A whle back Heritage MG quoted me around $140. As I said it didn't include the 2 idler gear needle bearings, . Nor did it include the 2 diff bearings- they run so slow they are the last thing to wear out.

Might be a good idea to do them as well, just in case
