hey guys
im in a catch 22, i was putting my new LCB exscractors on the engine and its such a tight fit, so i stupidly undid one of the engine mounts to make it easier and the exsorst is on fine but now cant fit the engine mounts, :x

stupid question but has anyone drilled a new hole for the engine mounts,

when i take my engine out next time i am going to grease them, and make a guide out of steel and weld it to the subframe so it just slide in,

Undo the engine steadies and you have enough of a leeway to moove the engine around wthout having to undo the mounts. Removing the manifold studs in the engine head will also allow you to slide the LCB flange into place rather than having to go over the studs.

yeah engine steadies are off, but she is inches from me sliding a screw driver in the hole to pivot the thing closer,

is it posible to leave the engine mounts on the subframe and slide the engine onto the engine mounts,
