I got stung 20beans for a brake line that goes from the junction to the subframe and to the pass side wheel. Is this fair? the thing is i need both first lines on the clutch and brake. Should I look around or just go back?

Cheers guys and gals

I would rather fit new pipes than 30+ year old, if you are doing it properly.

If it was a new peice of pipe flared & with new nuts, i'd call it a bargain, i know mini spares still have brand new original leyland stock subframe brake pipes for around $30 each.

I paid $23, 2 years ago for a new front pipe at B&R Brakes.
Take your old ones to a decent brake shop, they have all the gear and fittings to make them properly.
Fittings are copper plated too, so won't rust for a while...

I paid $5 for the same, but supplied the fittings.
