I'm after the mob that make the bonnett pins that has a 'key' like mechanism to undo it. From the outside all you can see is a bit of metal about the size of a 5c piece.

I think they're a `Dzus' fitting.

i got mine from the local repco.

The best ones for flip fronts would be the ones they use on drag cars that use a screw driver to lock and unlock. If they can hold a body on at 200+mph they should be fine for a mini :)

You guys are talking about two diifirent things.

Tzus clips that Kev mentioned are a sping loaded captive locking thingy that you used a screwdriver or similar to push down on twist and lock into place. Alot of drag cars and flip front minis use them, They are good for holding stuff down but the shaft is not very long and probably would not be long enough to use as bonnet clips. The other ones Brad is talking about are proper bonnet pins but instead of haning and R clip or pin through the post like mine, they can be locked with a key.

Gafmo

Did this with my last mini and it had it's good point and bad points. Good is you can get easy access to motor, Bad is always having to lift the whole thing off for the simplest of things.

See pics here, for an idea on how it's done.
