With or without hole or lightened without hole? The last two are double the price of plain. So what do you use?

Edit : just read the fine print in the MS site - the lightened ones have a drain hole

I've got a set of Minisapres lightened and drilled followers here that I took out after 30 thousand miles. Parts of the machined surface has been shattered off the face of the followers in all but 2 of the 8. It was fitted to a standard Mk2 Cam, now it's got an RE13 cam and I shelled out for another brand of followers.

The MS followers were purchased in 1997.

As said, there are some dodgeys around. Reputedly Product of India.

IF they came from MSC they should be OK.
GR recommends getting either the Isky ones (1/8" longer) or the MSC lightened ones.
Whether has hole or not, doesn't really matter.....
